Google Photos for Android will help free up space on your device.

Google Photos, which is Google’s popular photo management utility will soon have more than 100 million users who have uploaded some 50 billion photos, is going to me more useful and Famous. For Android users Specially. A Google Photos update revealed a new feature that is , giving users a new function  a “Free up space” button will appear somewhere in the app. Users can easily delete a large bulk of pictures from your device, but no worries these are backed up and safe in the Photos cloud. If user is running out of storage space Google Photos assistant will also suggest to Free up space.

Happily one more thing , from today you will be able to go to photos.google.com/settings and choose to downgrade all of the pictures that you have uploaded in “Original quality” down to “High quality”, Why would you do that? Well, Original quality photos take up precious Drive space, which you have to pay for beyond 15 GB, while High quality photos will not count towards your Drive storage, and you can have an unlimited amount of those backed up in your Photos cloud.
